JESSI & JULIÁN

Our salsa firestarters… carriers of Cali’s vibrant rhythm…
Jessica & Julián are Colombian-born dancers and choreographers lighting up Berlin with the vibrant energy of Cali-style salsa. Since 2020, they’ve been teaching, performing, and promoting this dynamic style—bringing it to major stages like the Berlin Salsa Congress, where they led the very first Cali-style workshop, and opening concerts for legends like Grupo Niche and Gilberto Santa Rosa. Jessica, dancing since 2009, has graced the stage of the iconic Festival Mundial de Salsa in Cali. Julián, who began his journey in 2019, brings the heart of a cultural sociologist to his dancing—seeing salsa as a celebration of identity, connection, and expression. Cali-style is fast, explosive, joyful—and their classes reflect every bit of that spirit. With a focus on footwork, musicality, and partner connection, they teach in English, Spanish, and German, welcoming dancers of all backgrounds into a warm, community-centered space. Rooted in tradition, fueled by passion—Jessica & Julián are preserving the soul of Cali-style salsa, one step at a time.

SALSA ON2 MASTERS

FRANZI

Our Reggaeton queen… a powerhouse of talent and passion…
Franzi, a Berlin-based dancer, choreographer, and actress, began her professional journey after eight months of training in Argentina. In 2020, she featured in music videos in Berlin, diversifying her skills in various dance techniques.
Her favorite genre is Reggaeton, and she fluently speaks Spanish. In 2022, Franzi intensified her training with the Venezuelan E.O. Twins in Berlin and spent two months in Medellin, Colombia, igniting her passion for teaching reggaeton.
As a dynamic choreographer and performer, Franzi's classes emphasize individuality in movement, focusing on the beat rather than the lyrics. She is committed to creating safe spaces for Latin style performances in Berlin's growing Latin community.
Franzi's work extends beyond choreography, showcasing her skills as an actress in film, commercials, and live shows, with performances that range from energetic and empowering to emotionally charged and minimally staged.

NIYA
Our all-round dancer… precise, versatile, and grounded in technique…
Niya brings a rich movement background and a clear teaching style to the dance floor.
Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, she began with ballet, modern dance, and hip hop before discovering her passion for salsa. As part of a salsa team, she represented Bulgaria at international festivals and built years of experience in salsa, bachata, and cha cha. Since 2023, she has been teaching at Dolce Vita.
Her classes focus on coordination, body awareness, and strong technique—always with an emphasis on developing each dancer’s individual style.
Niya integrates elements from various dance styles into her salsa and bachata teaching, using practical technique exercises that can be applied across genres.
