SILVIA DE LORENZO

SALSA, BACHATA & ALL LATIN DANCE TECHNIQUE CLASSES & THE STUDIO'S HEART & SOUL
Founder

Silvia founded Dolce Vita not just to open a dance studio, but to create a home for movement, rhythm, and human connection.
Her vision was clear from the beginning: to offer a space where people can escape daily stress, reconnect with their bodies, and experience the true power of dance, not just as a series of steps, but as a path to joy, freedom, and self-expression.
This vision is deeply rooted in her own journey. Silvia is a professional dancer and choreographer from Spain, based in Berlin since 2007. She began dancing at an early age, exploring styles like Ballet, Jazz, and Flamenco, and later graduated in Contemporary and Modern Dance from Danceworks Berlin in 2011.

With a style that blends Latin flair and refined elegance, Silvia is known for her fluid following, powerful presence, and expressive musicality. Her experience spans top international salsa festivals, including the Amsterdam International Salsa Congress, the Croatian Summer Salsa Festival, and the Munich Salsa Congress, bringing not only technical excellence but heartfelt passion into every space she creates.

But beyond technique and stage presence, Silvia carries a deep love for Latin rhythms. For her, Salsa is not just a party dance, it’s a culture. A powerful and sophisticated expression of Afro-Caribbean identity. You can hear that depth in artists like Tito Puente and La Fania All Stars, legends now paid tribute to by modern icons like Rosalía or Bad Bunny.

Her mission became clear: to show the world the richness of Latin dance, and to create a space where that culture is honored, shared, and passed on. She brought together some of Berlin’s best Latin rhythm teachers, artists who share her passion and continually grow in their craft, because dance, like life, is always evolving.

Silvia never wanted to stay in one place. That’s why Dolce Vita keeps growing, offering more styles, more influences, and more ways for people to find themselves in dance.

Because dance isn’t just movement, it’s release. It’s belonging. It’s transformation. And at Dolce Vita, it’s for everyone.
