HOW

IN STUDIO & ONLINE

The classes will be in person and live-streamed at the same time over our Virtual Academy Plattform. The videos will also stay online during the whole project, so you can rewatch them or do the class online in case you cannot attend in person.

DURATION

MARCH - AUGUST

*Attention: Due to a last minute show performance at Soda Club Berlin, we'll postpone the start of the project one week. New start: March 23rd

THE PERFORMANCE

At the end of the project and after continuously supporting our students to become more confident in front of an audience, we will perform at the Berlin Salsa Congress in the last weekend of August.

However, performing is optional. If you don’t feel comfortable yet, it’s okay to skip.

COSTUMES

The costume is one of the most relevant aspect for an amazing stage presence. They will be custom-made by a professional dressmaker that will make us shine on stage! The price ranges between 100 and 150€ depending on the

project.

DANCE WHErEVER YOU ARE

The project will be taught both at the dance studio and live streamed, so you can also take the class from the comfort of wherever you want.

YOUR DANCE TEACHER

Silvia de Lorenzo is a professional Salsa/Mambo instructor, dancer and choreographer born and raised in Spain and settled Berlin since 2007.

She started taking dance classes at a very young age in different dance styles like Ballet, Jazz and Flamenco and graduated in Contemporary and Modern Dance from Danceworks Berlin in 2011.

Silvia's dance style is a great mixture of latin flavour and elegant sophistication. She has the ability to effortlessly follow, and her expressivity on stage comes from her deep love for dance and music.

She has been teaching and performing at big Salsa festivals worldwide such as Amsterdam International Salsa Congress, Croatian Summer Salsa Festival and Munich Salsa Congress, and since she founded her Dolce Vita Dance Company, she's determined in developing the dance scene in Germany with her classes and choreography projects.

She has been closely collaborating with Tania for over 6 years, bringing her choreographies and her unique style to Berlin and being dancer of her and Charly García's Chania Company.

Silvia's classes, characterized by her methodical teaching style and her spontaneous sense of humour, are very well known in the Salsa community.
