The Bachata Dominicana Style originates from the rural areas of the Dominican Republic, characterized by intense hip movements and lively footwork. Dance partners employ characteristic, grounded steps and turns, reflecting the joy of life and cultural identity of the Dominican Republic. This dance style emphasizes emotional expression and the connection between dance partners.

The goal of the course is to stay true to the origins of Bachata and convey the characteristic features of Bachata Dominicana. The focus of this course is on authentic movements, rhythms, and the unique expression of this dance style.

Bachata is accessible to all age groups, offering a vibrant and easily approachable dance experience, making it popular in social dance scenes worldwide.

Currently, we offer Dominican Bachata as an 8-week intensive course in a closed group. We place special emphasis on the core components of Bachata through regular participation.
